MusiCares / Person of the Year Tribute
LOS ANGELES — The MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute is an annual concert gala honoring the life and work of music's most respected and revered artists. For their commitment not only to the craft of music, but to those who make it, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Carole King, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, and James Taylor are among those who have been honored with a Person of the Year Award.
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 2016 Tribute to Lionel Richie featured performances of classic hits like “Hello,” “Three Times A Lady,” and “Dancing on the Ceiling” by a diverse collective of popular artists, including Stevie Wonder, Florence Welch, Demi Lovato, Lenny Kravitz, Little Big Town, Leon Bridges, Pharrell, and more.
The MusiCares Foundation provides medical, financial, and addiction recovery services to those in the music community.
